Imam Abdulsamih A. Tadese
Imam AbduSemih A. Tadese was born in Lagos, Nigeria, to a Muslim family with generations of practicing Muslims. He speaks Arabic language fluently from his early age of studying Arabic and Islamic education in Nigeria. He received a Bachelor degree (LLB) in Comparative Law: Shariah and Common Law, from the International University of Africa, Khartoum, Sudan. He also received a Master of Science, in Law and Public Policy, from Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs, Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio. Imam AbduSemih has worked as an Imam at Uqbah Mosque Foundation- Masjid Uqbah and as an Executive Member for almost ten years. He has taken part in several national and International conferences in the U.S. and other countries. He represented Nigeria in Afro-Arab Conference in Khartoum. He has underwent several trainings in both Columbus, Ohio and Washington DC. on Islamic education, Urban Studies and inter governmental relations. He is an author of two books on Quranic Reading and Modern Standard Arabic Language and several articles. Currently, he works at the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh as an Imam and Director. Imam AbduSemih enjoys playing soccer, jugging, travelling and public speaking on myriad of discourse.
